New Doll

I had a "reject" head and started playing with it and look what happened! I think she came out looking pretty good. I made my own pattern for this doll and I think I'll try a few more like this, although the head may come out different.

New Photos

I made a light box to help take better photos. These are a few of my first photos using the light box. I think they are much better than the previous ones. All my original dolls except for the last one (with twigs) - made by Akira Blount.

Six fairies are finished. No names yet, but they are all different.

I'm working on four more fairies. They still need wings, wands, and some embellishments.. Will probably finish this weekend and then will post some more photos of the finished dolls.

Another Fairy

Busy weekend

I finished a few things this weekend. The doll with the green hat is about 8" tall and I made a bunch of them out of muslin, then painted with fabric paint and stamped the words on the body. The hat is made of felt.

The fairy is about 20" tall and was a lot of fun to make. She is inspired by a Julie McCullough doll, but this is my own pattern. I have a few more to make from this pattern.

Green doll

This doll is (finally) finished. I just couldn't figure out what she wanted to wear. I guess all green was meant to be since I finished her on St. Patrick's Day!
