My Akira Blount doll

I bought this on ebay - never thought I'd be able to afford an Akira Blount doll, but managed to buy this. It was made in 2000 and is just beautiful. check out Akira's website: http://www.akirastudios.com/

Doll gets a new hairdo

Check January 2007 post for the original hair and hat. I made new hair and turned the hat into a basket. I like her better this way.

New doll

This is the latest doll - still needs a body, but the hair worked well. I learned how to do the yarn hair from Charlie Patricolo. Here's a link to some of her work.
